Biography

Sixx A.M. is formed by the Mötley Crüe's bassit Nikki Sixx, the singer and writer James Michael, and the actual guitarrist of Guns 'n' Roses DJ Ashba.
This hardrock project takes place in 2007 when Nikki Sixx decides to release his autobiographic book called " The Heroin Diaries" but adding a soundtrack to it, where it belongs the single "Life is Beautiful". Recently, the band came back with  "This is Gonna Hurt", second disc and soundtrack of the best seller: "This is Gonna Hurt".

“I think this record ended up affecting all of us on a much deeper level than we thought it would,”Michael says. “The album is about being honest with yourself. When you sit down and start really acknowledging who you are and how you behave towards other people and how you judge other people, it’s gonna be painful. This is gonna hurt.”
